If you want to get an all-electric car, you want to get one that actually looks like it comes from a possible future. Renault seems to have come up with such a vehicle with its newest concept car, the ZOE e-Sport. The car was introduced today as part of the 2017 Geneva International Motor Show.

The front design of the two-door car makes it look like it’s being used by some sort of super hero, with its angular lines and its huge logo in the center. Indeed, the entire car has a sharp edged look to it. Renault says it’s made of a carbon fiber body, and even with its batteries it weighs less than 1,400 kg (about 3,086 pounds). The two doors for the car, as you can see in the image above, don’t have handles. You are supposed to open them by just tapping on a touch-sensitive portion of the door. That sounds kind of cool.

The Renault ZOE e-Sport may be on the small side, but it still holds two electronic motors and two batteries inside, which combined have a total capacity of 40 kWh. The motors can bring the car up from 0 to 62mph in just 3.2 seconds, with an overall top speed of 130mph. The car also has four different driving modes, each one of which can change the overall range of the vehicle.

Unfortunately, there’s no word on the actual top driving range of the Renault ZOE e-Sport. but that may be because its is supposed to be just a concept car. A version of this exact vehicle may never show up in your local dealership, but we can cross our fingers that some of its concepts will make its way into actual production automobiles.

Stay tuned as we are attending the Geneva International Motor Show and will have first-hand reports from the event as they unfold.
