We have some exciting new info to share with you regarding the upcoming Tesla Model 3. InsideEVs got its hands on a retail comparison chart, which is basically a side-by-side comparison of the Model 3 and the Model S.

It shows that the upcoming EV will go from 0 to 60 mph in 5.6 seconds. Other things worth mentioning are that it will have a range of at least 215 miles, a 15-inch touchscreen, and 14 cubic feet of cargo volume. You can see the rest of the details in the comparison chart below.

Looking at the chart, it’s clear that the Model S beats the Model 3 in every category. It can hit 60 mph in as little as 2.3 seconds, has a range of at least 249 miles, and more cargo space. However, you have to keep the price in mind when comparing the two vehicles. The Model 3 starts at $35,000, while the cheapest Model S will set you back $69,500.

Believe it or not, the comparison chart is actually an attempt to anti-sell the Model 3. Elon Musk recently said the reservation numbers for the EV are constantly increasing despite the fact the company is not advertising it and isn’t offering test drives. The chart is reportedly being used by Tesla’s employees who are trying to convince some people to opt for the Model S instead of the upcoming Model 3. That’s probably not the easiest thing in the world to do, mainly because of the price difference between the two EVs.
